Finals Fever!!!
Well the time has come for the finals, and already we have achieved so much this season!
After our disapointing performance against a spirited Collingwood, the players were able to brush aside a gallant Essendon on Firday night to win their first ever finals in the short clubs history!!!!
Our next encounter is against the 2001 premiers Brisbane Lions, although the Lions have rarely been defeated at the Gabba, the power can go into this game with alot of confidence, with the fact that Port defeated the Lions in rd 22 in a thrilling encounter to take top spot in 2002.
We feel, (the supporters) that we have got nothing to lose, that we just want our beloved team to go at their hardest and give 100%, and that's all that we can ask for.
Already this has been a stellar year for the power, making history twice by finishig top and winning the MCleland trophy, and also winning their first ever final after 4 previous losses in finals to create history.
Win or lose i couldn't be more prouder of my team, GO PORT!!!!
